Anne lived the average life as a California tween until her thirteenth birthday, when she was coerced into stealing a peculiar music box from a thrift shop by her closest friends, Sasha Waybright and Marcy Wu. Little did the girls know, the stolen music box was actually magical, and upon opening it, the trio found themselves inexplicably transported to an unknown world.Stranded and alone, Anne awoke on the outskirts of a quaint little village known as Wartwood, in a land inhabited by anthropomorphic talking amphibians. She eventually found and befriended a young charismatic frog named Sprig Plantar.
